Eric Watson, pop photographer and video-maker (1955-2012)

The photographer Eric Watson has died. He worked extensively in the eighties, particularly with The Pet Shop Boys, photographing them for the cover of their single It's a Sin. He also worked on Smash Hits, subsequently making pop videos for Rod Stewart, Chris Rea, Holly Johnson, Dusty Springfield and Pet Shop Boys.

That's a great shame, he was a key part in the iconography of the early Pet Shop Boys
