" I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong... I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me."

Amazon say that the new DVD is one disc, which hopefully doesn't mean the extras are Blu-Ray exclusive. It would be a bit stupid to have the SD production The Return Of Spinal Tap only available on a HD format.
Hey, I've got one of those amps (but without the Spinal Tap logo)! I picked it up last year. It's a micro-amp with a belt clip on the back. It's quite neat and loud enough for practicing with. It's the proper Marshall brand though it's made in Korea or Vietnam or somewhere like that (will have to take a look). There was another slightly more expensive version that looked like a two amp stack.
Don't think that's right - the report I read said three discs.
Still not quite sure what the limited edition has - it looks like it might have the DVD and the Blu Ray, as well as the soundtrack CD and other assorted sundries.

Yep - if you find a way to get Sex Farm 2009 without having to buy the entire LP on iTunes let me know! I think Flower People's still free on the UK Amazon MP3 (V0 file) and Saucy Jack's free on the official website (320kbps - not stingy!).
There's a Rock Band download EP too which contains all the previously unreleased 'new' songs except the Jazz Oddyssey sketches, and Saucy Jack, all playable on the game as well. How the latter works on it is beyond me though.
Interesting bit of trivia - the credits in the booklet strongly hint that they recorded Rock N Roll Nightmare back in 2000 when they recorded the Back From The Dead track. Presumably meant to be a B-side for a physical single that never happened?
Other interesting trivia about Back From The Dead - Parker Posey does the female screams on it! Guest was doing Best In Show at the time so it makes sense.
Watched the DVD a couple of days ago - some massive laughs in there, wonderful to see their creative cogs turning in harmony. Odd that there are two similar attempts included of them commenting Sex Farm though - I wonder if one is replacing an unused Saucy Jack commentary?
Managed to construct the packaging into the diorama - which hurt my head working it out - and it's quite amusing to see completed. Derek and Nigel are a bit floppy though.
Ahh, that makes more sense. Odd that it definitely seems to have every single promo video except Majesty Of Rock though. And the original running time for The Return Of is 117 mins - not 57. Could be a mistake though, especially given there's hardly anything else on disc 2.
Great appearance at Glastonbury yesterday, including a parade of Big Bottoms!![]()
Wel the boys were on top form last night at Wembley Arena! They powered through 1 hour 40 min set of hit after hit - starting off with Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight and finally ending up with Heavy DutyIt even included Saucy Jack and Cry Cry Cry All The Way Home, so ever aspect of Tap's might canon was explored
Plenty of quips about being back home in London (near Squatney), and Stonehenge was perhaps the highlight with a disastrous attempt at inflating a near-life size monument!
Great stuff, only improved by support from the Folksmen!
Westlife - Live At Field Mill, Mansfield 21st August 2010
