No idea what that means apart from the picture will be good, which is nice.We discovered that a 25fps progressive encode is supported by Blu-ray if the encode is flagged as interlaced. It looks no different to a progressive flagged encode because both upper and lower fields show the same image.![]()

Ethan Edwards: What've I got to do, draw you a picture? Spell it out? Don't ever ask me! Long as you live don't ever ask me more!
Does anyone know if the release of Paranoiac has been put back ? was supposed to be out today but my pre-order is not yet shipped and just checking online none of the major etailers have stock with many saying unavailable
Must exist as DVDBeaver had a review of the disk a week or so ago
The Hut have just emailed and said mine is on its way.
They've had delays with this month's releases. I'm not sure if it's their fault or the manufacturers. It's a bit irksome, but they're such a small outfit (and producing great DVDs and BDs) that I forgive them.![]()

I'm glad they've got their copies. I've been waiting bloody ages for mine. Sendit are emailing apologies on a regular basis.
PS. To those at work, the Vengeance Is Mine screencaps feature a topless woman with her booby-doos showing.
PPS. The talk of banding on the image is a bit worrying. I'm hoping it's his system at fault, as it was with Picnic At Hanging Rock.

This is a surprising but welcome choice from MoC. Needless to say it should look great in HD.
I wonder what the chances are of MoC/Eureka following this up with the other titles from Fox's R1 Mansfield set.
I find Frank Tashlin's live-action work is very underrated. Perhaps we'll see an MoC BD of Caprice in the future? Perhaps not, but I'd buy it.
Another release I'm really looking forward to. Hopefully the Criterion and MoC releases of this will be a success and could lead to McCarey's Ruggles of Red Gap getting a quality release.
